Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development of any country. The economy becomes more productive, innovative and competitive through the existence of more skilled human potential.


Skill training importance for under privileged, marginalized rural youth is the powerful weapon against poverty and hunger. With this thought Shrushti has been supported by Adarsh Charitable Foundation to provide skill training to 300 youth of Sirohi districts.


The purpose of project is to raise the level of entrepreneurial skills among the informal sector, and to provide assistance to the unemployed sector through provision of basic and generic skills.


This project has been successfully implemented in urbans of Sirohi distrct. Shrushti has focused on awareness building led skill development programme, so as to reduce the unemployment rate and harmonize Migration factor, which are the main emerging issues of deprived underprivileged communities.


Shrushti has provided to vocational training along with periodical session on Entrepreneurship Development Programme and Personality Development Programme backed by experts. Our training module has enough flexibility to include courses which are trending in the market and can increase chances of employability for the youth.


For instances with the launch of GST, our team developed module around Tally+ GST and took pilot batch of 25 youth and as expected 80% trainees were placed in local market and rest choose to work as free-lancer.


In this project we have offered training on trades such as Mobile repairing, office assistant, hospitality, Electrician, GST+Tally etc.


Placement percentage of training center running in Sirohi district is above 80% and most of trainees are placed in local market.
