Thematic Area
Global warming due to environmental degradation has already started showing its threat to human survival. The situation calls for an urgent proactively of the highest order and Shrushti believes environmental protection is everyone’s responsibility. We Shrushti Seva Samiti as Ngo, help forest communities by planting native trees on degraded lands, to restore bio-diversity to their lost forest.
Shrushti majorly works in tribal-dominated districts where many villages fall under tribal protective area and specifically works in three protected wildlife sanctuaries name Phulwari Ki Nal wildlife sanctuary, Sitamata Wildlife Sanctuary, and Kumbhalgarh wildlife sanctuary in Rajasthan. To date, we have planted over 23000 trees on 100+ acres of land of the village community and small hold farmers’ lands. Apart from planting trees with the support of our village community, we also conducted various awareness programs to promote plantation, water resource management, reforestation, soil conservation, etc.
